Awarded airshow website contract

Weeks after I submitted my proposal and demo, I was finally informed yesterday that I was awarded the Dobbins airshow contract. I think they initially had a funding issue, but everything is good to go now. Keep tabs on the the airshow website at http://wingsoveratlanta.com
Back from Quakecon 2010

After almost 72 hours of non-stop fun, work, and seeing old friends in the computer industry, I’m finally back in my own bed. Quakecon is a great event, but it really takes it toll on me. I wish I could just hang out in the gaming area and play Call of Duty or Battlefield. Anyways, check out my Quakecon coverage at PCPer.com if you are interested in knowing more about the event.
Quakecon poster and Case Appeals case

Just thought I would post the Quakecon poster I made for PC Perspective’s case mod contest table as well as the custom case we had made from CaseAppeals.net. The poster will be 2 ft by 3 ft and mounted on foam board. We will also be giving away the custom case during the PC Perspective Hardware Workshop. Thoughts on the poster and case?
Tribute to Jerry Rice

Congratulations to my favorite football player of all time Jerry Rice. I grew up watching the San Francisco 49ers and this is a well deserved induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Thanks for all the memories Jerry.
Live web show on UStream

I’m creating a weekly web show that will be broadcasted on UStream.tv very soon. The show is called Steve’s Web Rant and it will capture my thoughts on what’s going on in the world of web design, graphics, PC hardware, and social media. I will also provide my insights for making your website and graphics products come to life with new and innovative techniques that I’ve compiled throughout my 13 years in the web design and public relations industry. I’ll post the broadcast schedule once it is finalized.

Well, since I’m doing a lot more freelance web projects these days I thought I would beef up my website a bit. I added an “about me” page today and I’m also going to update my websites and computers sections soon too. I’m also going to add a contact page and client recommendations too. Gearing up for Quakecon 2010

It’s that time of year again where the PC Perspective team heads out to Dallas for the annual Quakecon gaming event. Thousands of gamers from all over the world come to this free event to play in one of the largest LAN parties on Earth. I’m a staff writer at PCPer.com and we are hosting this year’s case mod contest as well as a hardware workshop for the second year in a row. Here are a few flyers I created for the event.
